I'm not going to lie. As a guy, I think a lot of female-written erotica is trite. Not that male written erotica isn't equally bad, but female-written stuff tends to be just as laden with cliche and repetition; normally focusing on materialistic pleasures as much as male-written erotica obsesses about sexual specifics.With The Billionaire Who Cloned Me, author A. Violet End manages to take the trite conventions made popular with stories like 50 Shades of Grey (in this one, the same troubled billionaire with an inexplicable obsession for a single woman) and spin them completely on their head.
The result is a erotic adventure that is completely, delightfully bonkers - exploding any attempt at "suspension of disbelief" and throwing our heroine into a totally unbelievable drug-fueled romp that combines a "50 Shades" pastiche with ridiculous sci-fi overtones.
As a result, it's fantastic. A. Violet End has a truly unique voice and vision and as a result her writing stands head and shoulders above what is fast becoming a crowded market of repetitive, unoriginal female-targeted erotica.
If I had any criticism, it would be that A. Violet End kind of closes over the sex itself, and revels more in the bonkers storyline she's weaved for herself. While that's the true sign of a superior writer, it's not so ideal for those of us who chose the book specifically for a little titillation (although I will admit this is more my fault than the author's. As a guy, my tastes are probably more for the juicy details than the context surrounding how they ended up happening.)
Aggressively priced, well-written and truly original, I would give this a definite thumbs up and will be exploring more episodes from the series soon.

A. Violet End has stepped it up another notch with The Billionaire Who Cloned Me, part 5 of Diary of a F***doll. This is no longer the story of Lisa trying to get away from the controlling billionaire Tristan. This is now an erotic story of a woman's struggle between what she knows is right and what her body wants to tell her is the what she should enjoy and be passionate about.
Having access to the most advanced pharmaceuticals medications not even on the market, Tristan can control his toy, Lisa, in more ways than anyone can imagine. Just how far with one more go to brainwash a woman to do his sexual bidding?
What I really enjoyed about this one, is the addition of these advanced medicines and another medical advancement I won't mention. It added a near-future, sci-fi element to the story-line that was very unexpected. I really want to know where the story can go from here. Adding this new seemingly unlimited amount of control over Lisa makes it seem like there's no way out. At times she doesn't want a way out. At other times, she wants nothing but to be able to run away. The conflicting emotions, both drug induced and natural, are what keeps me coming back for more.
I don't know if I can wait until the next installment comes out to see what fate has in story for Lisa. I'm ever intrigued by A. Violet End's plans for Lisa.
Wow! I did not see that coming...
Part 5 takes the series to a whole other level I didn't expect this twist at all. Once again, End gives us incredibly original, creative, hot, sinfully dark, and fantastically well-written non-con.
Tristan is the billionaire I love to hate, and I have no idea where this series will go next, but I can't wait to find out!
